We will be hosting our event Live - In-Person, in Coronado on July 2, 2022 as we have for 60+ years. We will send out detailed race day guidance to all registered participants on June 30th.
We want to remind our parents this is an open water race and all youth athlete should have a strong aquatics background. We will have robust EMS and safety crew on site for the event. We recommend only kids who participate in water polo or competitive swimming regularly participate in this event.
Prizes will be awarded by categories listed below:
First Overall Male and Female Finishers (1 Mile ONLY)
TOP Male and Female Swimmers for ALL Age categories below:
- 250 Yard swim (12U)
- Youth Half mile swim (17U)
- Youth Mile swim (17U)
- Open Half Mile: 18-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69, 70+, and Active Military Challenge
- Open Mile swim: 18-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69, 70+, and Active Military Challenge
Swimmers may wear wetsuits in accordance with USA Triathlon Guidelines we strongly encourage athletes to avoid wetsuits greater than >5mm - please No fins, snorkels, paddles or other equipment to be fair for all swimmers.
